The Fukuda Museum of Art and the Saga Arashiyama Museum of Arts & Culture jointly organise an exhibition to commemorate the rediscovery of Matsuo Bashō's valuable hand-painted scroll, "Nozarashi Kikō."

To comemorate the 3rd anniversary of the Fukuda Art Museum, this exhibition introduces a number of treasured collections, which have never been shown to the public before.

Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan, has always been a favorite of many artists. This exhibition features works by the masters of Kyoto painting from the 18th century to the 20th century, as well as a number of masterpieces with Kyoto as their subject.
