The Fukuda Art Museum located in Saga Arashiyama, Kyoto,  might be temporarily closed when the weather warning is issued and the visitors are in danger.  For the latest information, please check our Website or Twitter.  The museum will be closed on August 27th due to the exhibition exchange.

Weather Warnings to be Applied

<Warning>　　　     One of the following warnings; Storm warning (暴風警報), Blizzard warning(暴風雪警報), Heavy snowfall warning (大雪警報) 
<Special Warning>　One of the following special warnings; Heavy rainfall special warning, Storm special warning, Blizzard special warning, Heavy snowfall special warning

How We Determine the Closure

• We temporarily close the museum if one of the warnings above is issued Ukyo ward of Kyoto at 6:00 am and we judge that we are in danger.
• If the warning is canceled before 6:00 am, we open the museum as usual. 
• We close the museum for all day long if one of the warnings above is still issued in Ukyo ward of Kyoto at 11:00 am.
• If the warning is canceled between 6:00 am and 11:00 am, we open the museum from 1:00 pm.
