If you wish to use images of the artworks or archival materials in our collection, please review the following terms and conditions before submitting your application.

Summary Terms and Conditions for Image Licensing

• Fees: Image usage is subject to a fee.
• Prohibitions: Sublicensing, copying, replicating, or photographing the images without the prior written permission of the museum is strictly prohibited.
• Purpose of Use: Images must not be used for any purpose other than the approved application.
• Approval: Please note that applications may be declined depending on the nature of the requested use.
• Attribution: When describing the materials in publications or broadcasting, you must clearly mention that they are from the collection of Fukuda Art Museum.
• Complimentary Copy: Please provide the museum with one copy of the publication or final product in which the image is used. 
• Copyrighted Works: For works still under copyright protection, applicants must contact the copyright holder directly and obtain permission prior to use. The museum does not provide introductions or mediation services.
• Data Handling: Image data may only be used for the specific materials authorized in the permit. Please delete or destroy the data after use.
• Payment: Fees and other charges must be paid via bank transfer, as specified in the permit.
• Revisions & Reprints: If there are any revisions, reprints, or additional print runs, a new application must be submitted.
• Image Alteration: Please refrain from altering or modifying the images in any way that compromises the integrity of the original artwork.

To apply for image usage, please submit the following documents via email:

1. Project Proposal (or Exhibition/Publication Outline)
2. Application Form for Use of Museum Images (Signed PDF)
3. Reference Images of the Requested Artworks

Processing and Delivery of Permits and Image Data

• It typically takes approximately two weeks from the receipt of the application to issue the permit and send the image data.
• The PDF of the permit and the image data will be sent to you via email.
