From 16 (Mon) to 27 (Fri) December, the Fukuda Art Museum (FAM) and the Saga Arashiyama Museum of Arts & Culture (SAMAC) will be running a special campaign, offering a further discount on the combo ticket, which allows you to see both exhibitions. This campaign is a great deal for those who wish to visit both museums in Arashiyama. Please purchase the combo ticket at the reception desk on the day of your visit at either FAM or SAMAC.

During this period, the Fukuda Art Museum holds an exhibition of Itō Jakuchu’s masterpieces, including his rare scroll Kaso Zukan [Fruits and Vegetables], which is exhibited for the first time in the world, while the exhibition is held at the Saga Arashiyama Museum of Art & Culture under the title ‘Haiku and Haiga: The Charisma of Two Poets, Bashō and Buson’, both for haiku fans to deepen their appreciation and for anyone who wants to explore the links between haiku and painting. Please enjoy these two museums in winter, when the autumn foliage is nearly over and it is a little quieter here in Arashiyama, Kyoto.

• Purchasers of online tickets for the Fukuda Art Museum will receive a discount coupon for the Saga Arashiyama Museum of Arts & Culture.
• Saga Arashiyama Arts & Culture online ticket holders pay the difference between the combo tickets.

Notes:

The difference between the campaign price and the price of the online tickets of FAM and SAMAC cannot be refunded to those who have purchased the online tickets for both museums in advance. In this case, you can change the dates of your visit to FAM and save your online ticket for another opportunity if you wish to benefit from this campaign. The online ticket for the SAMAC is valid for six months, so please use it within the validity period.
