Mutual discounts with “Rakushisha”, a place associated with Bashō
Matsuo Bashō, one of the protagonists of the exhibition “Bashō, Buson and Jakuchū”, visited Saga Arashiyama three times in his lifetime. On those visits, he stayed at the hermitage “Rakushisha” of his disciple Mukai Kyorai. In particular, he stayed there for half a month in 1691 and wrote the Saga Nikki (Saga Diary).
To commemorate the exhibition, Rakushisha and the Fukuda Art Museum collaborate and give a special discount for the visitors.
A group rate will be applied during the exhibition period if you present your Fukuda Art Museum admission ticket at the reception desk of the Rakushisha. In addition, if you present your Rakushisha admission ticket at the reception of the museum, you can purchase a same-day ticket at the group rate (adult 1,200 yen, high school student 600 yen, elementary and junior high school student 300 yen, disabled person with a disability certificate and up to one carer 600 yen).
Not applicable to those who purchase a dual ticket with the Saga Arashiyama Museum of Arts & Culture or those who use other affiliated discounts.
