[Important] Alert Regarding Fraudulent “Impersonation” Orders and Solicitations Using Our Museum’s Name
We have confirmed the existence of “impersonation accounts” on external platforms such as the skill marketplace “coconala,” which are falsely using our museum’s name to place business orders or solicit individuals.
Please be advised that our museum is not currently conducting any individual scouting or placing business orders through such platforms. To prevent any potential damage, we kindly ask creators and all related parties who receive suspicious communications to take the following precautions:
- Do not respond to suspicious accounts: Even if the sender claims to be from our museum, please be extremely cautious if they use an email address other than our official domain (@fukuda-art-museum.jp) or attempt to direct you to unverified external chat tools. These are likely fraudulent.
- Request for Fact-Checking: If you find any points of concern regarding an order, please do not respond immediately. Instead, contact us via the “Inquiry Form” on our official website to verify the facts.
We have already reported these identified impersonation accounts to the platform operators and requested their removal. Furthermore, for malicious cases, we are considering legal action, including consultation with the police and relevant authorities.
