【Important Notice】Precaution Regarding the Accidental Activation of the Fire Suppression System

Thank you for your continued patronage of Fukuda Art Museum.
Yesterday, a security incident occurred in which the door of the halogen fire suppression system located at the entrance to one of our exhibition rooms was tampered with by a visitor, causing the alarm to be triggered.
The fire suppression system in question is highly advanced and is designed to automatically release halogen-based compounds in the event of a fire. However, if released while people are present, these compounds pose a serious risk to human life and could potentially lead to fatal consequences if the system were to be activated accidentally.
Fortunately, the system did not discharge and no harm was caused on this occasion. Nevertheless, the incident could have resulted in a serious accident. We are currently working to strengthen our safety measures to prevent any recurrence of such events.
We kindly ask all visitors to refrain from touching any museum equipment and to use all facilities—including safety devices and exhibits—with care and respect.
Our staff remain committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment where everyone can enjoy art with peace of mind. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
